This putting green project ended up transforming the whole backyard after a few years. Subsequent seasons we added raised privacy plantings along property lines and a bluestone patio with fire pit. Tee boxes, more trees to fill privacy gaps and a flagstone walkway connecting the garage to the backyard. You don't have to do it all at once.

This project started out as only a putting green off the patio. We then added grass around the pool perimeter and, ultimately, lots of turf around the playground set. In line with Michelangelo testing protocols, Buzz sets up to draw a foam golf ball over the pool and on to the green!

Homeowners wanted to do something new with the batting cage area along the Sport Court. We built a putting green, sitting area and reused the netting for a golf ball hitting bay. Added a small retaining wall to give the green elevation and break.

2400 square foot project 3 hours from home. Client allowed our 5 person crew to stay at the house while we built the green…the July 4th deadline was met.

Resurfacing Old Greens
Synthetic turf often needs to be replaced after 12+ years. Sometimes sooner if the green was poorly constructed or you realize it should be better than it is. We have replaced a couple greens that were less than two years old due to buyer's remorse over choosing the wrong company. When we resurface a green we will add to the base to improve the slope and playability.
